Amici. Questo qui sotto è Nate Rappole aka Gull da Richmond, Virginia. Fa delle cose pazzesche. Con un tiro pazzesco. Ha due braccia ma quando suona sembrano un mazzo di tentacoli. Amici questo qui sotto è il nuovo video. L'abbiamo girato lo scorso week end in mezzo ai boschi innevati inzuppandoci da capo a piedi e rischiando la vita su quella scala scricchiolante. Il cinque più grande, ma di quelli fatti con le manone dei tifosi del wrestling va a Joe Barba/Stefano Bellumat che ha tirato fuori un video mozzafiato lavorando giorno e notte guidato dal sacro fuoco della gayna. Un milione di grazie poi a Lorenzo, Arianna e Berna che hanno assistito il Grande Capo Barbuto dietro alla cinepresa, agli amici che hanno messo a disposizione le loro Grancasse (Pero, Renzo, Stefano, Lorenzo) e ovviamente a Maya, che è l'altra cosa pelosa e nera che si vede nel clip.

 Ho fatto un po' di calcoli e su questa grancassa quest'anno ci sarò montato circa 850 volte. Grazie cassa per aver retto e non esserti piegata sotto il peso delle moxarelle, dei sermoni e di tutte le ore non dormite. E' stato un anno incredibile, velocissimo e pieno di incontri, di chilometri, di caselli autostradali di palchi e di risate. E' stato l'anno in cui ho pubblicato due dischi in sei mesi più la ristampa in vinile di We=Trouble e poi il tour europeo, quello italiano, l'anno in cui ho fatto un concerto intero alimentato con la dynamo delle biciclette ed uno in un locale gestito da sordi, l'anno in cui ho visto Sarajevo, in cui ho collaborato con gente nuova e tostissima, l'anno in cui ha chiuso la Locanda e l'anno in cui ho perso mia nonna. 
Spero davvero di poter restituire tutto quello che ho avuto.

I did some math. I probably climbed on this Drumkick  about 850 times. Thank you drumkick for being so resistant and not bending under the weight of my moxarelle, the sermons and all the sleepless hours. It's been an amazing year, fast and full of meetings, of kilometers and highways drugstores: full of laughter.  I published two albums in six months: the vinyl reissue of We = Trouble and then the European tour, the Italian tour, the year I did a full concert powered with the bicycle's dynamo. I also did a show in a sweet club run by deaf guys, the year I went to Sarajevo, The year I had the chance to work with new exciting and gifted people, the year our beloved "Locanda" closed for good and the year in which I lost my grandma.
I really hope to give back everything I had.

It's called "Lord only knows how many times I cursed these walls" and it's going to be completely instrumental. Four psychedelic acoustic pieces as a result of a session in which the folk guitar is used as a percussion instrument, exploiting its full potential of timbre and rhythm. 

The new ep "Lord only knows how many times I cursed These Walls" is going to be released on tape-cassette by Mother Ship Records and as a bonus CD in the vinyl reissue of We=Trouble, out soon for Sons of Vesta, Escape from Today, SoloMacello and Musica per Organi Caldi.

Lunedì ho dormito quasi tutto il giorno. A 40 concerti dall'uscita del disco più tutto il lavoro, gli orari, i cambiamenti, i matrimoni, gli arretrati da sbrigare, i concerti che vorrei organizzare, quelli che vorrei vedere, mi è venuto un gran sonno. Oggi però sto molto meglio

Giovedì a Zanè (VI) con il Garage Ermetico, Sabato a Bergamo, concerto a pedali alimentato dalle biciclette, che bomba. per fortuna pedalano gli altri.

Monday I slept almost all day. Since the album came out I did 40 shows, been extra-busy at work, made wrong schedules, faced changes, weddings, graduations, relatives, put up shows, been to a lot of concerts. I slept all day and today I feel way better.
Thursday: Zane (VI) with il Garage Ermetico, Saturday: Bergamo, a bike pedal-powered concert. What a blast.
